The rolling hills of the Saucon Valley make a fine backdrop for this French country style manor home.

A winding tumbled-paver lane leads to the house off the main drive. The pavers pick up the house stone colors while complementing the blues of the perovskia plantings.
Between the dropoff and the house we created a small garden area for viewing from within the house.
The dropoff paving narrows to become the front walk. Boxwoods give year-round structure to the entry, while the lawn provides a feeling of openness.
Here is an intimate breakfast patio tucked into a cranny of the architecture, just off the kitchen.
Generous masses of summer flowers delight the eye and soften the stonework.
This garden off the side porch invites relaxation and repose.
In back, a gurgling fountain off the loggia becomes the focus of this timeless sanctuary.
View toward a rear terrace large enough to hold several furniture groupings for eating and conversation. Lush summer perennials give pleasure throughout the season.
The terrace looking back toward the house. The French country is maintained from the street entry to the rear spaces, unifying the property and giving it a very special sense of place.
